Foie Shelton, age 88, of Weaverville, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Madison Manor. She was the daughter of the late Dave and Tina Rice Carver. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rass Shelton and daughters, Paulette Waldrup , Patricia Dell, and Billie Ruth.
Foie is survived by her sons, Carl Shelton (Shelia) and Doyle Shelton (Joann), both of Weaverville; sister, Lola Adams of TN; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 22nd at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Boyd Metcalf officiating. Interment will follow at Piney Mountain Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
