Condolence: Ruth and Family,
I am heartbroken over Max's passing though I realize, that through God's blessing, he left behind human care and strife. He was a man who loved Mars Hill College and these mountains, in large part, founded on his love for you Ruth and your family. He was a man who loved ideas and vision and never sought public credit, but because of his efforts in broadband, economic development, and institutional planning, organizations throughout North and South Carolina thrive.

I shall miss him along with you and so many others, the world has a void with him gone from us.

Condolence: My condolences to the family. I pray God comforts the family during this difficult time. May the wonderful memories of Mr. Lennon bring the family lasting comfort. A comforting scripture to keep in mind is at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." The family is in my prayers.

Condolence: Precious Ruth - My heart is broken for you! Your beloved Max loved you with a deep and intense love that always made itself evident - and your love and devotion to him was always just as keen. Robin and Danny and beautiful grandchildren - What a legacy you have! Max Lennon was a man of integrity and honor and he loved the Lord with all his heart! Trust the Lord with all your heart - don't rely on your own understanding - acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your path straight! Proverbs 3:5-6
You all are daily in my every prayer! Jane
