Jesse Abel Edwards
Jesse “Jerry” Edwards, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at age 70. He was the son of the late George Edwards and Texie English West. He is preceded in death by his sister, Janis West; the light of his life to whom he was devoted and a brother, J.R. English. Jerry was a graduate of East Tennessee State University and University of Tennessee.
His is survived by a cousin, Sherri Blackwell; nieces, Pam Reed, Pat Jackson, Peggie Seay and Paula Moore and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM with Reverend Scott Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to; Shortbus Studio, PO Box 849, Burnsville, NC 28714.
