Hazel Thomas (Chandler)
Hazel Chandler Thomas, 93 of Marshall passed Monday, February 6, 2017 at Elderberry Health Care Center. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of Lloyd and Hattie Massey Chandler. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Cletus Thomas; daughter, Sharon Brown; sisters, Odie Snelson, Annie Tweed and brothers, Fred and Bernard Chandler.
She is survived by two sons, Richard and Loy Wayne Thomas; sister, Pauline Roberts; grandchildren, Becky Rice (Todd), Richard Thomas, Jr., Stacey Poore (Lee): great grandchildren, Tyler, Elisabeth, Jessica, William, Dylan, Savannah and one great-great grandchild, Alyssa.
The family will receive friends 10:00am until 11:00am Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am. Reverend David Brigmon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Walnut Cemetery.
