Obituary for Jessica Nicole Griffey (Gouge)
Jessica Gouge Griffey, 31, of Alexander, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 25, 2017. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kyiah Lynn; and maternal grandfather, James “Bud” Briggs.
Jessica is survived by her parents, Donnie and Marla Briggs Gouge; children, Trenton and Alexia Griffey, and Bo Gouge; brother, Tyler Gouge and wife Tabitha; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Robert Robertson, and Don and Molly Gouge; maternal grandmother, Maxine Briggs; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 7pm Friday, March 31, 2017, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Brian Buckner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
