Obituary for Clara Susan Conner (Faulkner)
Clara Faulkner Conner, 89, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was a native of Buncombe County and daughter of the late Dan and Nannie West Faulkner. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Conner and brothers, Ted and Claude Faulkner.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Rice (Rufus) and Joyce Willett; sons, Bobby Conner (Angelika), James Luther Conner, Jr., and Arnold Jack Conner; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Sprouse officiating. Burial will be at 11 am Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
