Dorothy Ann Wilds (Payne)
Dorothy Ann Payne Wilds, 91, went to be with her Lord on April 10, 2017 at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Lila McDevitt Payne. She is preceded in death by a son, Robert Wilds “R.B.”; brothers, Roscoe, Earl, Ed, James and Boyd Payne; sisters, Evelyn Gosnell and Hazel Payne.
She is survived by her children, Joyce Tweed (Rick), Patricia Wilds Payne (Mike) and Larry Wilds (Beverly); sister, Lola Gosnell; grandchildren, Amanda Hunter (Caleb), Sue Ann Roberts (Mike), Cameron Wilds (Paula), Chris Waldrop and Richard Payne (Kathy), great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Kenneth Crane officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery
