James “Jim” Hewitt, 99, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was the son of the late Claude and Minnie Hicks Hewitt. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hellen Waldrop Hewitt.
He is survived by his children, Faye Buckner, Linda Cogdill (Randy), Diane Williams (Ricky), Joe Hewitt, Charlie Hewitt (Pam) and Jimmy Hewitt, Jr. (Martha); niece, Nancy Broadus (Ken); several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger Boone officiating.
