Chrystal Beth Glenn 39 of Mars Hill joined her Heavenly Father on July 16, 2017 after an extended illness.
Chrystal was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on November 29, 1977. She was preceded in death by her brother Jeff Glenn whom she missed very much, maternal grandparents Talmadge and Hazel Hensley and paternal grandfather Jim Glenn.
Chrystal is survived by her daughters Jessica Briggs of Weaverville and Jozlyn Mathews of Mars Hill, Mother Becky Ritch (Tim) of Mars Hill, father Michael Glenn (Donna) and paternal grandmother Mattie Sproles of Old Fort, North Carolina. She is also survived by her special sister Jenny (Dave) Bradley, nephews Morgan and Liam and niece Mary of Mars Hill. Jenny stayed by her side and assisted her faithfully and lovingly through the end of this illness.
Chrystal was of the Christian faith and was a very loving and caring person. She loved her large family of aunts, uncles and cousins and enjoyed planning family get-togethers.
The family would like to thank Madison Homecare and Hospice for the exceptional loving care given to Chrystal.
In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me page will be set up to aid in healthcare needs of indigent patients of Madison County.
A celebration of Chrystal’s life will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 5 pm at Vision Missionary Baptist Church, 386 Phillips Valley Road, Mars Hill, North Carolina 28754.
