Harold H. Wallin, age 95 passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Mr. Wallin was a native of Madison County and son of the late Hubert and Ellen Chandler Wallin. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife, Ruby Carter Wallin, son, Greg Wallin, sisters, Wilma Buckner (Lloyd) and Mildred Hunter. Mr. Wallin was a US Army Veteran and retired from Madison County Government as Tax Collector for over 30 years.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Janet Wallin; sister, Darlene Holcombe; grandsons, Shane Wallin (Ashley) and Austin Wallin; great granddaughter, Jayla Wallin and nephew Larry Hunter (Brenda).
A graveside service will be held 11:00am Friday, September 15, 2017 in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Reverend Josh McDevitt will officiate.
