Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Vernon Chapman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

To My Dearest Friend, Susan, and Your special Family, My heart breaks for you all during this time. Susan, my head is flooded with so many memories of your dad, but the two that are my most favorite are his nickname for you (you know the one!), and that sparkle in his eyes that was there every time he was near you! There were times when I was afraid of him when I was a little girl because he was large and had mastered the stern look. But then there was that sparkle and I knew inside was a teddy bear! Oh...and the fun at Hilton Head! I could go on and on, but I really want you to know that I send my love and hugs from Montana and I pray for the process of mourning and healing to be smooth, peaceful and, eventually, comforting. Love to all!
