Obituary for Clyde Ray Allison
Clyde Ray Allison, 71 of Indian Ridge Drive passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Emerald Ridge Nursing Home. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late J.J. and Eliza Worley Allison. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Edith Ramsey Allison and brothers, Kenneth and Jerry Allison.
He is survived by daughters, Kay Allison and Cathy Proffitt (Lloyd); son, Richard Allison; sisters, Nina Freeman and Mary Freeman (David); brother, Wade Allison (Barbara); grandchildren, Jesse and Rebekah Blackwell, Alison Arnold, Shelly Franks, Steven Manos (Tina), Amber Manos (Josh), Jacob Manos and Adison Proffitt; great grandchildren, Carter Sharpe, McKenna Ramsey, several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Spring Creek with the funeral following at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Emerald Ridge Rehab and Care Center and especially his "adopted granddaughter" Heather Reed.
