Laylah Grace Penland, a precious gift from God, entered this world December 20, 2017 for moments several lives will never forget.
Laylah was the daughter to her father, Quentin Steven Penland and her mother, Samantha Ann Freeman Penland. Laylah is preceded in death by her brother, Levi Quentin Penland who was born May 10, 2016 and lived until June 18, 2016. She is further survived by her paternal grandparents, Steven Clyde Penland and wife Peggy; paternal aunt and uncole, Jason Clyde Penland and wife Bessie and cousins Madison, Jackson, and Jeff; maternal grandparents, Michael Keith Freeman, and wife Debbie; maternal aunt and uncle, Shane Wesley Sluder and wife Hannah and cousin Sarah.
A funeral serviced will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Alexander Baptist Church with Reverends David Grindstaff, Jonathan Sluder and Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
