Reverend Kermit Cecil Robinson, 86 of 172 Monticello Rd. passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at John F. Keever Solace Center. He was the son of the late Ernest and Georgia McLaughlin Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna Bailey Robinson; daughters, Loretta Jamerson and Danita Robinson (Stephen Ramsey); son, Rick Robinson; sisters, Jessie Buckner and Robbie Farmer, also his five grandchildren and four great grandchildren of which he really enjoyed spending time with.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters; Julia Farmer and Athlene Burleson; brothers, Hiram, Leonard, James, Clyde and Paul Robinson and son-in-law, Rick Jamerson. Reverend Robinson pastored and preached at several churches and loved to fish and garden.
A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Larry Sprouse, Dean Metcalf and Kenneth Pack will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
