Mary Kathrine Davis Pegg, 79, of Upland Road, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Henry and Lucille Lewis Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Troy B. Pegg; son, Troy L. Pegg and a brother Calvin Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Buckner (Dennis); sisters, Elvia Gosnell, Christine Rivers (Charles), Betty Silver and Clara Boone (Larry Davis); brothers; Gary Davis (Margaret) and Lewis Davis (Elsie); grandchild, Kristy Buckner (Jake Bryant) and great grandson, Eli Douglas Sims and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:30PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Donnie Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
