Obituary for Daisy Black (Worley)
Daisy Worley Black, 88, of 148 Oakley Freeman Road, Marshall, passed away, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at John F. Keever Solace Center. She was a native of Madison County and the daughter of the late Jeter and Polly Hagan Worley. Daisy retired from Dillingham Elderly Care Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lee Black of Athens, GA; sisters, Pauline Wilson, Thelma Freeman and Christine Lyons; and brother Willard Worley.
She is survived by her son, Larry Wright (Jackie), granddaughters, LaShay Newton (Jay), Kandice Larriant Stanton (Josh), Kyenne, Kyleigh and Kyndall Wright; great grandchildren, Ramsey and Olivia Newton and Emmet Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations made to: CarePartners Foundation Hospice Solace Center, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
She is survived by her son, Larry Wright (Jackie), granddaughters, LaShay Newton (Jay), Kandice Larriant Stanton (Josh), Kyenne, Kyleigh and Kyndall Wright; great grandchildren, Ramsey and Olivia Newton and Emmet Johnson.
