Russ loved the outdoors. In his younger days, he loved to be out fishing and hunting. In the most recent years, he loved seeing the wild life and storm clouds roll in from his living room window.

The family would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the amazing staff of the Charles George VA Medical Center Homebound Program and the staff of Hospice of Madison County. Especially Dr. Billie Sheppard and Nurse Practitioner, Jan Nelson, who were instrumental in giving Russ a good quality of life.
