Obituary for Anna Belle Silver (Wyatt)
Anna Belle Wyatt Silver of Marshall, NC was born on May 18, 1937 and entered her heavenly home on August 16, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Wyatt and Elizabeth Rich Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lou Allon Silver; sister, Glenada Wyatt; brother, Charles Wyatt; and brothers-in-law, JL Heath, and Clarence Bartlett.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Anna Lou Warrick (David) of Autryville, NC, Michael Silver (Abby) of Asheville, NC, and Phillip Silver (Angela) of Mars Hill, NC; Roger Edmonds, whom she loved as a son; sisters, Helen Bartlett, Geneva Heath of Asheville, NC, and Glenda Buckner (Bruce) of Weaverville, NC; in addition to 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She had many special friends she loved as not only sisters in Christ, but as her own sisters, which were, Arenda Shelton, Sadie Clark and Christine Ogle.
Anna Belle loved her children and family and was a pillar of her community. She has cooked and prepared many a meal for those in her neighborhood and they have likewise looked out for her. She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church and served as the secretary for many years.
Anna Belle loved to garden and share her food with those around her. She also loved to read. She was often called thrifty or tight but she grew up in a time where she had very little and times were hard, so she learned the value of things. Her desire was to take care of her family whom she loved. She was very much a conservative and tried to always look ahead to what the future may bring upon her. Her advice was to stick to your morals and live for God and give God the glory for all your blessings. She will be sorely missed but now her faith has been made sight.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday August 19, 2023, in Grapevine Baptist Church. Reverend Danny Jenkins, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Clarks Family Cemetery, Marshall. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday August 18, 2023 at Grapevine Baptist Church.
