Obituary for Colton Seth Anders

Colton Seth Anders, 29, of Burnsville, passed away January 1, 2023.

Born on December 5, 1993, Seth led a simple life with simple ways. He loved working with wood and tinkering with cars. His smile lit up every room he walked into. His sense of humor and laugh were contagious. He was always cracking a joke or doing funny impersonations. Seth was so good at impersonations he could have done voice overs for the movies. He had a strong love for music and was forever quoting lyrics. Seth never met a stranger, he would and did give people the last bite of food he had. So many stories’ people have shared about how Seth was there for them in their darkest hour. We could all learn from Seth and his big heart. He was the apple of his mother’s eye. They share so many of the same
traits, smile, laugh, and a BIG heart just to name a few. They were two peas in the same pod. Never a doubt of the love and bond they shared. In his short 29 years Seth touched many lives and to say he will be missed is an understatement. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Anders.

Seth is survived by his mother, Debra Ollis Decola and stepfather, Bobby Decola; the love of his life, Caroline Boera and her children, Brayden and Ellie; maternal grandmother, Ethel Ollis; sister, Heather Anders Penland (Kevin); uncles, Danny Ollis (Kristie), Steve Ollis (Angie) and Greg Ollis (Sandi); cousins, Travis, Jeff, Nicholas and Katie; one niece, and four nephews.

A private memorial service with family and close friends will be held in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
