Dwayne Cogdill, 84 of Spring Creek NC, departed for his Heavenly home on January 16, 2021 at Elderberry Health Care in Marshall. He was born to the late William Daniel and Omah Waldroup Cogdill on November 23, 1936. Mr. Cogdill loved God, his family, and friends dearly. He had the sweetest passion for bluegrass gospel music. He always had a song on his heart. In Addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Phil, and Burton Cogdill, three sisters Ellen Cogdill, Barbara Wood, and Faye Bunk.
He is survived by a sister Opal Waldroup, many nieces and nephews, friends and church family at Lusk Chapel Baptist Church in Spring Creek.
Services will be announced at a later date due to COVID-19. Blue Ridge Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
