Mr. Jackie Chandler, 76, of Marshall, NC passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Jackie was the son of the late Jeter and Hazel Gosnell Chandler. Jackie was also preceded in death by his wife: Ruby Lee Chandler, a son: Jackie Lee Chandler, two sisters: Biddie Presnell and Sheila Gosnell, and two grandchildren: Angie Ray and Leon Clontz.

Jackie is survived by his daughters: Tammy Chandler and Teresa C. Ray, one son: Rusty Clontz, Sr., two sisters: Janie Scott and Cathy Hipp, three brothers: Brentley Gosnell, Edgar Gosnell, and Brody Gosnell, six grandchildren: Jackson Wheeler, Megan Anderson, Brandy Ricker, Jeremy Clontz, Amy Clontz, and Misty Lunsford, four great grandchildren: Breanna Davis, Kayden Davis, Jacklyn Ray, and Cheyenne Ricker, and one great great grandchild: Ezekiel Franklin.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Robbie Capps memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with the Rev. Kellen Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Scott-Chandler Cemetery in Marshall, NC. The Chandler family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm prior to the service on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the funeral home.
