Jeter Clyde Thomas passed away on February 6th,2022. Jeter was born on June 13,1935 to his late parents Rose and Ernest Thomas in Spring Creek, NC. Jeter retired from Beacon Manufacturing after 30 years of service, in Swannanoa, NC. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers: Fred and Burter Thomas.
Jeter is survived by his wife: Doris Thomas, his son: J.C. Thomas and daughters: Carolyn Drake (Jerry Drake) and Lauren Sowayan, granddaughters: Brittany and Lucas Thomas and Leowyn Hilemon and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Hot Springs First Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, at 2:00pm with the Reverends Bill Higgins and David Jones officiating. The Thomas family will receive friends at the church from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service.
