Ms. Joyce Edwards Gregg, 82, of Marshall, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Joyce is the daughter of the late Zeb Lee and Blanche Rogers Edwards. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Harry Gregg, in 1997. Joyce was a softball coach at one period in her life but, her legacy is her faith. She was a Charter Member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mars Hill, NC and served as the pianist there for over 65 years. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and was an avid NASCAR fan pulling for Joey Logano during every race.

Joyce is survived by her daughters: Amy Myers and her husband Bill and Tammy Gregg, one brother: Bob Edwards and his wife Judy, one grandson: Will Myers, and several special cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Trinity Baptist Church in Mars Hill, NC with the Reverends Larry Thomas and Kevin McMillan officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Gregg family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, January 10, 2023, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
