Kenneth Moulton, Jr., age 81, passed away April 28, 2023. He was born March 19, 1942, in Chepstow Monmouth, United Kingdom during World War II. During this time his family lived through some hard times because of rationing and the town was bombed during the war.

At the age of 15 Ken joined the Royal Navy. He spent 25 years serving on board several aircraft carriers. He also served in Singapore. In 1966 He married Dawn Nichols. They had two sons, Steven and Garth.

In 1976 while he was on board the HMS Ark Royal he met and fell in love with Judy Myers (Nee
Meserve). In 1979 they married in Yeovil, Somerset UK. In 1982, when he retired from the navy, they moved their family to Weaverville North Carolina. For almost 40 years Ken and Judy owned and operated Linaken Inc., a distribution service for free publications. For several years Ken and Judy served as volunteers for the Barnardsville, NC fire department. In August of 2019 Ken suffered a stroke, which caused him to retire from the family business. He never fully recovered and had another stroke in August of 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents Winnfredia (Nee Lockley) Moulton and Kenneth Moulton Sr,
and his brother John Moulton.

He is survived by his widow, Judy Moulton; son, Steven Moulton of Redruth Camborne Cornwall;
Son, Garth Moulton of Cornwall; stepson, Robert Myers and wife Linda, Evonna Myers widow of
Stepson, Joseph Myers; grandchildren, Eric Myers, Alex Myers, Kristopher Myers, Isadora Myers,
John Moulton, Kerry Moulton, Adele Moulton, Ben Moulton, and great granddaughter Nieve Moulton.

He is also survived by his faithful companion Jack.
