Obituary for Kevin James Jodry
Kevin James Jodry, 53, of Mars Hill, North Carolina passed away at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC on June 15, 2020.
Kevin, a U.S. Veteran served as a crew member on Mohawk reconnaissance aircraft while stationed in Germany.
Kevin was the owner of KZJ Roofing and worked as a general contractor. He was a very active member in the community and church. He enjoyed coaching recreation league baseball and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Kevin is survived by his two children; Tasha Rigsby (Derek) of Burnsville, NC and Tyler Jodry of Mar Hill, NC; his parents, Fred and Brenda Jodry of Waynesville, NC; his siblings Darin Jodry of Waynesville, NC and Beth Davis of Kitty Hawk, NC; his grandfather Richard L. Jodry of San Antonio Texas; his three grandchildren Clarissa, Canyon, and Channing Rigsby, and his two nephews Elijah Davis and Wyatt Bumgardner as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at the Western North Carolina Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2020.
