Obituary for Khloe Irene King

Khloe Irene King, age 9, gained her angel wings on February 2, 2024. She was truly one of a kind. This little princess made an impact on every person she met, always wanting to help anyone in need. Khloe was a Daddy and Mama’s girl, as well as Mamaw’s buddy. Heaven sure got the best.

Khloe was so loved by the North Buncombe and Barnardsville communities, including her classmates at North Buncombe Elementary and Barnardsville Elementary Schools, the North Buncombe Youth League Cheerleaders, her teachers, and friends.

Khloe is survived by her mama and daddy, Jeffrey, and Melissa King of Weaverville; grandmothers, Debbie King (Mark) of Weaverville, and Rosie Adkins (Michael) of South Carolina; grandfather, Matthew Moore of North Carolina; uncles, Jonathan King (Ashley), and Brandon Stone; many cousins, like Kaleb, Kaiden (KK), and Emma; as well as great aunts, and uncles.

Khloe brought color to our world through her sweet nature and beautiful smile. Please wear Khloe’s favorite colors of pink and purple to the services to honor her. As Khloe’s favorite cartoon character, Stitch, says “Ohana means family, Family means no one gets forgotten.”

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 10, 2024 in Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church, 22 Wooten Cove Rd. Weaverville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow in the Chambers Cemetery on Lula Cove Rd, Weaverville.

All expressions of sympathy, including flowers or monetary donations to funeral expenses are welcomed, and can be sent to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
