Obituary for Krystan "Paige" Jenkins
Krystan “Paige” Jenkins, 27, of Alexander NC, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2023. Her family is deeply saddened by her death. Paige was born on May 10, 1996, to Aleshia Coates and Montie Jenkins.
Paige loved music and enjoyed playing soccer with her friends. Paige was a kind and thoughtful soul and will always be remembered by the many lives she touched. She was a member of Mt. Sheba Baptist Church in Weaverville NC. Her favorite verse was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. Paige had the biggest heart and most beautiful smile. Her smile could brighten any room. She was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun! She was fearless and independent yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She cared so deeply for the people around her. Even in death Paige was able to help save other lives by donating her organs.
Paige will be greatly missed by her mother, Aleshia Coates; father, Montie Jenkins (Joyce); brother, Tyler Jenkins (Jesse); sister, Addyson Jenkins; nieces, Brianna, Miranda, and Amanda; grandparents, Lloyd and Wilma Coates; special friends, Leann Heir and Chelsea Baldwin; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Paige was a strong fighter, but she is now walking the streets of heaven with her grandparents, Hershel and Daliah Jenkins. She will forever be missed by everyone, until we meet again.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, October 20, 2023, at Mt Sheba Baptist Church, 870 New Stock Road Weaverville, NC 28787. Reverends Steve Rheinhart and Robert Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm prior to service at the church.
