Randolph Kyle Cutshall, lovingly known as “Randy”, moved to his eternal home in Heaven, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Randy was born on March 24, 1960, in Winston-Salem. Born at only 4 pounds, Randy was a fighter from the beginning, and he continued to fight as his health declined over the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his dear mother, Mary Douglas Randolph Cutshall.

Randy will be missed by the family he left behind; his steadfast father, Buddy Kyle Cutshall, daughter, Tricia Cutshall Dimsdale (Eric), and sons, Michael Scott Cutshall (Jennifer), and Douglas Kyle Cutshall (Katherine). Affectionately called “Pappaw”, Randy also leaves behind a legacy of four grandchildren: Peyton Muse, Karli, Raegan, and Lincoln Randolph Cutshall. In addition, he is survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Randy was a graduate of Erwin High School and AB Technical Community College where he then began a fruitful career as an electrician. He was a jack-of-all trades. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. Randy was an avid reader, enjoyed a good “western”, and loved many genres of music, which he instilled into his children and grandchildren, alike. Randy was best known for his strong work ethic, quiet nature, belly-laughs, and timely humor.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, October 6, 2023, at Piney Mtn. Baptist Church. Pastor Eric Dimsdale will officiate. Burial will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
