Obituary for Regina Bailey (Bechtol)
Regina Bechtol Bailey, born December 4, 1967 went to be with The Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Irene Fisher Bechtol and a lifelong resident of Madison County. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Michael and Phillip; and “Granny” Lela Fisher.
She is survived by her husband Ricky Bailey; son, Nathaniel Bailey; sisters, Theresa Bechtol, Treva Murray (Vance), Vivian Lunsford, and Vickie Jane Lively; brothers, Landon Bechtol (Linda) and Vincent Bechtol (Phyllis); several special nieces and nephews; and special animals, Sampson, her cancer fighting cat and Zoe Mae, her great dane.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Mark Crowder, Scotty Cole and Steve Honeycutt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Tildon-Metcalf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Regina was a devout Christian, who never complained and was always giving Jesus the praise for all things. She was a witness to all she met and would want them to have the love of God in their heart, as she had in hers. Regina will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be, Brian and Mitchell Lunsford, Will West, Matthew Bechtol, Austin and Bryson Effler
