Obituary for Ronnie Dale Baker
Ronnie Dale Baker, 71, of Marshall, NC, passed away after an extended illness on October 25, 2022. He was the son of the late Herbert C. and Viola Massey Baker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Baker.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cynthia Ogle Baker; daughters, Rhonda Poole (Scott), Shawna Fowler (Allen); grandchildren, Christian Poole, Bailey Mace, Matthew Poole, Brock Mace, Abby Poole, Ansley Mace, and Isaac Poole; and a special friend, Pamela Cooper.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Reverends Larry Sprouse, Scott Poole, and Kevin Boone will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00pm prior to the service.
Ronnie enjoyed restoring old cars, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren & furry companion, Molly.
The family would like to thank Dr. Diznoff, Dr. Simon, and Dr. Burpee, for their loving care extended to Ronnie during his illness.
