Obituary for Sherry Dean Honeycutt
Sherry Honeycutt, age 60, of Mars Hill passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Mission Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born October 10, 1962, in Aurora, Illinois. She was the daughter of Cling and Jerry Honeycutt.
Sherry graduated from Madison High School in 1980. She worked at many local places, the last was being “The Warden” at Papa Nicks, which she clearly loved. She was always her dad’s special helper and loved the Lord. Sherry loved everyone and everyone who knew her loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Allen; and her grandparents, Grady and Relda Doan, and Harrison and Macie Honeycutt.
She is survived by her fiancé’, Michael Eads; daughter, Amanda Paige Wyatt (Tim); sons, Patrick Allen and Isaac Honeycutt; sisters, Becky Hamlin (Tommy), Charmin Revis (Jimmy), and Carmen Garrison (Michael); brother, Benji Honeycutt; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, as well as her special friends, “The Girls”.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday March 12, 2023, in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Joe George will officiate. The family will receive friends 1:30 – 3:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service to assist the family with funeral expenses.
