Obituary for Joyce Wolfe
Joyce Cole Wolfe, 84, of Mars Hill passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She is the daughter of the late JD and Bama (Trulock) Cole, a native of Orange County, FL, living the past several years in Madison County. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her brother, Jay Douglas Cole; sister, Lunette Brenner (Cole).
She is survived by her husband, Richard Wolfe; sons, Rick Wolfe (Amy) and Ron Wolfe (Debbie); grandchildren, Kendra Kelly, Diana Brown, Nicole, Austin, and Cameron Wolfe; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce loved to bake. She was known for her strawberry cake and enjoyed treating her grandchildren to her zucchini muffins. “Granny” was known by many. If they did not know her, it wouldn’t take long to fall in love with her. She was a faithful prayer warrior to all and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
