Wade Onell Fox, 73 of Weaverville, passed away on Thursday September 15, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Jim and Martha Burlison Fox. He is also preceded in death by his sisters: Judy Dillingham, Helen Banks Lunsford and Imogene Fox Snider Boone; brothers: Tommy and Robert Fox. Wade was employed by Boone Realty for 30 years and also operated Wade’s Home Improvements.

Wade is survived by his loving wife Linda Banks Fox; daughter: Tonya Fox Mathews (Mark); son: Brian Wade Onell Fox; sister: Barbara Guthrie Davis (Randy); brother: Donald Fox (Linda); grandchildren: Taylor and Austin Mathews, Desiree Fox; great grandchild: Raelynn Fox.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Salem United Methodist Church in Weaverville with Reverends Drew Nix and Kent Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am -12:00pm prior to the funeral at the Church. Burial will follow the service in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville.
