WEAVERVILLE: Wanda S. Reed, 75, of 152 Sparrow Lane, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Elizabeth House Hospice, in Flat Rock. She was a native of Madison County, a member of Long Branch Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late David M. and Flossie Reece Smith. Mrs. Reed was also preceded in death by husband Eugene Reed; son, Calvin Reed; brothers Henry, Bert, Willard, Howard, Jack and Rex Smith.
Surviving are her daughters Janet Guthrie (Ricky) and Deborah Dotson(Eugene); Two Sisters her twin Juanita Roberts, Edna Paugh and brother Wayne Smith; Grandchildren Josh Sprinkle (Denise), Daniel Dotson, Haylee-Gene and Jackson-Reed Gutherie, Tracy Clarke and Melinda Chandler(Steve). Great Grandchildren Emily Ball, Jonathan Clark, Garland Nelson, Amber Chandler, Hannah Grace and Allie Faith Sprinkle. Great Great Grandchild James Hudgins, Several Nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be held Saturday, April 23 at Tillery Branch Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Parker will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Gutherie, Eugene Dotson, Josh Sprinkle, Tim Roberts and Don Shelton
At other times the family will be at the home.
