Ada Marie Holcombe Rice, 75, of 64 Mundy Cove Rd., passed away June 24, 2013 at her residence. Ms. Rice was the daughter of the late Walter Hillard Holcombe and Bonnie Riddle Dodd. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Zaccehus Henry Rice and a son Wayne Edwards. She is survived by daughters Kim Winters and Kathy Anderson, sons Billy Rice, Larry and Dale Edwards, brother Billy Holcombe, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:oopm Saturday, June 29 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Revs. Bud Marlor and Billy Rice Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Dodd Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
