Adale Payne Chandler, 67, of Marshall, NC, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 12, 2021.

She was born June 27, 1953, to her late parents, Arthur and Valerie Wilds Payne.

Adale met her husband her senior year and they were married on her 18th birthday. She was a stay-at-home mom and then worked at Morlin for many years. She attended Enon Baptist Church and Bull Creek Baptist Church. She loved to read and collected cookbooks. She grew beautiful plants and flowers and made Christmas cookies for friends, family, and neighbors. Adale's greatest joy was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and she gave the best hugs and kisses.

Adale is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Chandler; her three children, Gidget Walker and her husband, Marty; Tina Gosnell and her husband, Josh; Christopher Chandler and his wife Amanda Wilde, her five grandchildren; Isaac and Carrie Gosnell, Emma and Samuel Chandler, and Victoria Walker; brother, Michael Payne and Linda, Kaden, Peyton, and Chase.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Pastors Kevin Boone and Jimmie Dean Hensley will officiate as we celebrate her life as a beloved wife, mother and Mamaw. Please help us honor and recognize the love and support she shared with us. The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 1:00pm prior to the service

Though we will miss you in our everyday lives, we will cherish our memories. We are happy you are reunited with past loved ones, and we have comfort that we will be together with you again with Jesus. We love you always.
