Adaleen Capps Gahagan, 94, of Asheville, NC passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, at her home. Adaleen was the daughter of the late Andrew and Emma Roberts Capps. Also preceding her in death were her husband: Grady Gahagan, Jr., a son: William Kilpatrick, a grandson: Jerry, two sisters: Anna Mae Coward and Christine Medford; and a brother: Dewey "Bud" Capps. Adaleen was a Member of Swannanoa Church of God.

Adaleen is survived by her daughters: Linda Rice and husband Bill, and Shirley Gahagan; two sons: Terry Gahagan and wife Christy and Jerry Gahagan, seven grandchildren: Sharon, Karla, Jason, Rodney, Connor, Meryl, and Nathan, and several great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Brother Robert Haney and Brother David Hall officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler, NC. The Gahagan family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm prior to the service.
