Alvin Cutshall, age 72, of Spillcorn, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at John F. Keever Solace Center. He was the son of the late Sherman and Mary Sanders Cutshall. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Shelton who passed away on July 17, 2019; and brothers Dean and Grover Cutshall.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Zelma Shelton Cutshall; sons, Alvin Cutshall Jr. (Tonya), Brent Cutshall and son -in-law, Allen Shelton; sisters, Glenna Cutshall, Clesta Bowlin (Bob), Edith Rice (Spence), Theresa Burwell and Darlene Shelton (J.B.); brothers, Buddy Cutshall and Sherman Cutshall, Jr (Debbie); grandchildren, Mitchell Nash(Abby) and Brooklyn Nash; great granddaughter, Amelia Nash; sisters in law, Wanda Rice (Bronson), Janice and Lynn Shelton; brothers in law, Dean Shelton (Viola), Robert Shelton (Martha) and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, August 5, 2019 at Spillcorn Church of God. Reverend Eddie Roberts and Jason Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shelton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 – 8:00 PM Sunday, evening at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
