Amanda Silver Vaughn, 31, of Mars Hill, passed away of natural causes, on Friday, November 28, 2025. She is a lifelong resident of Madison County and the daughter of Phillip Silver and the late Angela Carver Silver. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Howard Carver and paternal grandfather and grandmother, Allon and Anna Belle Silver.

In addition to her father, Amanda is survived by her husband, Bruce Vaughn, maternal grandmother, Phylis Carver, several cousins and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Middle Fork Baptist Church. Reverends Nelson Ponder and Brent Rice will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Amanda loved the Lord, her job and everyone she came in contact with.
