Anna "Ann" Calloway Brooks Medford, age 83, of Academy Street formerly of Old Fort, NC went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Mission Hospital. She is the daughter of the late Walter Calloway and Dora Lance Calloway Parker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband B.A Brooks and former husband Floyd Medford; sister, Susan Breedlove and brother, Sammy Calloway. Ann enjoyed her flowers and being outdoors, whether reading a good mystery or just being with her dog "Baby". Ann also loved cooking for her family and spending time together.

She is survived by step daughters, Lynn Smith and Debbie Megan; step son, Mitchell Medford; sisters, Cathy Metcalf (Bill) and Ruth Calloway; brothers, Phillip Parker and Billy Parker (Tami); several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and dog "Baby".

A funeral service will be held 12:30PM Saturday May 29, 2021 in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Jeremiah Parker and Steve Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will follow in Bowman Rector Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
