Annie Mae Silvers Burrell, 86, of Mars Hill, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Mark and Sudie Honeycutt Silvers. Annie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Glenn Burrell, and two grandchildren, Luke Burrell and Jason Liberty.

Annie Mae served in ministry, alongside her husband, for over 63 years, in many churches across Western North Carolina.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenna Barrett, her son, Jonathan Burrell (Sharon)

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverends Derek Whitson and Jonathan Burrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
