Anthony Dewayne Carver, 43, of Mars Hill, passed away on January 26, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1981 in Buncombe County. He was the son of Leroy and Judy Franklin Carver.

Anthony was a man of many talents and skills. He enjoyed fixing things and any problems someone handed him. Anthony enjoyed fishing and most of all his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Claud and Dollie Shook Carver, and Taylor and Ruth Lunsford Franklin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his partner and mother of his sons, Emma Golabek; sons, Logan, Luke, and Axel Carver; sister, Lashay Carver Wallin (Jeremy); brothers, Travis Carver (Mikayla) and Austin Carver (Jyssica); nieces and nephews, Millie, Trapper, Ayden, Kennedy, Keely, Syhlas, Ana, Arya, and Theo (who is expected soon); as well as many close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Pastor Brian Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in Shook Cemetery at Upper Laurel.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, January 31, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service.

The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
