April Dawn Thomas, age 51, of Madison County, passed away on Monday July 17, 2023. She was born in Buncombe County on March 13, 1972. She was a daughter of the late Randall Bryson.

April was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by Mamaw, Alta Bryson, and a sister, Heather Mallard.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Willard Thomas; son, Keith Thomas (Brittany); granddaughters, Madi and Ruby; sister, Tracy Angel; uncle, Ralph Morgan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Wanda and Stern Thomas, Jr.; brother-in-law, Stern Thomas, III: Aunt Tootsie; Aunt Linda Whitted; cousins Kevin and Allison Morgan and their child, Malachi.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Larry Rogers will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service.
