Arbutus "Sandy" Hurley Hoyle, 77, of 1512 Foster Creek Rd., passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Hoyle was a native of McVeigh, KY and the daughter of the late Emory and Zennie Justice Hurley. She was retired from Micro-Switch Inc. and had served for many years with her husband Rev.Edward Hoyle, as a pastors wife. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. Mrs. Hoyle is survived by her husband Rev.Edward Hoyle, daughters Denise Hoyle Johnston and husband Eddie, Susan Hoyle Hall and husband Terry; sisters Gertrude Lamar, Earnestine Fields and Peggy Ingle; brothers Carroll and James Hurley; grandchildren Sara Johnston Makoid, Kayla Johnston Prestwood and Andrew Hall. A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Friday, July 19, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Tommy Morrow will officiate. Burial will follow in the Laurelton Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm, Thursday, July 18 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Hall, Darrell Hurley, Gordon Peek, Jake Fender, Matthew Prestwood and Terence Makoid.
