Arnold Garrison, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home in Mars Hill. He was the son of the late Thomas and Alma Medler Garrison. Arnold was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Smathers Garrison; daughter, Debbie Henderson (Mike); sons, Curtis Garrison (Kim) and Philip Garrison (Jennifer); grandchildren, Wesley, Rachael, Chris, J.T., Chandler and Matthew; great grandchildren, Ayla, Emma, Micaiah, Silas, and Ezra; seven brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM - 7:00PM Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, April 16 at Vision Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Wesley Pike, Michael Garrison, and Steven Glover officiating.
