Austin Robert Sams, 28, of Mars Hill, was called home Sunday September 25, 2022.

A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, he was born May 1, 1994.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Inez "Nana" Davis; grandparents: Fred "Papaw" and Elizabeth "Mamaw" Sams.

Austin is survived by his loving parents Robert and Patricia Davis Sams; maternal grandfather: Locke "Paw" Davis; sister: Amanda Medlin (Nathan); nieces and nephews: Owen, Davis, Eli and Layla Medlin; dear friend, Krystal, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

He Is, Was and will Always be Loved.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Dr. Reverend Tommy Justus and Reverend Logan Buchanan will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
