Avery Shelton, 87, of Marshall, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the son of the late Henry and Maryetta Rice Shelton. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Johnson Shelton; sister, Alma Rice; and brothers, Buster, Don, Robert, & Harold Shelton.

Mr. Shelton is survived by his sister, Pat Grooms, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10am Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Thomas Branch Cemetery.
