Barbara "Bobbi" Ashman Luckner Darling, age 75, passed away in her home in Mars Hill, NC on 2/19/21. Bobbi lived most of her life in Stepney and Fairfield, CT, where she attended Unquowa School and Fisher Junior College (MA). She combined two passions when she opened an art studio/flower shop in CT and spent many years as a loving caregiver for her mother. Bobbi was a beloved daughter, niece, cousin, friend, and neighbor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Barbara, and is survived by numerous cousins and countless friends.

Bobbi's last 10 years were spent in Mars Hill, NC where she enjoyed the mountains, yoga, gardening, and was an art enthusiast, dog lover, avid volunteer, and bird watcher. Bobbi was happiest while helping people and giving back to her community - most recently volunteering for Madison Hospice, Madison Visitors Center, Community Housing Coalition, the Barn Alliance, Mars Hill Beautification, and many pet rescue organizations. Her radiant infectious smile, laugh, and ability to live life joyfully were noticed and appreciated by everyone she met.
