Barbara Jean King Buckner, 67, of Marshall, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Pelvin and Ruth Sams King and is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Isreal and nephew, Christopher King.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Buckner; daughter, Jill Simmons (Roderick); sisters, Susie Brown (Gerald), Ann Meadows, and Karen Meadows (Kenneth); brother, Harold King (Wanda); and grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Gracie, and Kaiden Plemmons, Infinity and Epsilon Simmons.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11:00am in Teague's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Sandy Mush Community with the Rev. Ronald McMahan officiating.

Pallbearers will be, Tyler Plemmons, Heath Treadway, , Jeremy Buckner, Kenneth Meadows, Steven Brockwell and Leslie Teague.
