Barbara Marie Roberts Bradley, age 87, passed away on Tuesday May 30, 2023, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 18, 1935, in Buncombe County to the late George and Lena Brooks Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Carroll Bradley who passed away in 2018; 2 grandchildren, Angela, and Lucas; and 9 brothers and sisters.

Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended Long's Chapel Baptist Church for many years.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ann Bradley (Bobby), Lisa Griffin, Critney Crowder (Josh), and Vivian Gentry (Roger); her son, Tommy Bradley (Patricia); 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; her best friend, Beverly Jarvis; and her dog, Angel, who was her best friend and companion.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Long's Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends Jerry Jamerson and Wade Rice officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
